Acceptable Use Policy

What you may and may not run on Hostacker infrastructure.

Phase 1 placeholder. These documents describe intent and will be replaced by counsel-reviewed terms before commercial launch.

General principle

Do not use Hostacker to harm others, to break the law in your jurisdiction or ours, or to degrade the platform for other customers. Everything below follows from that.

Prohibited activity

Unauthorised access to systems you do not control, denial-of-service traffic, port scanning of third parties, distribution of malware, phishing infrastructure, and unsolicited bulk email.

Content that is illegal to host, including material that exploits minors, and content that infringes intellectual property you do not have rights to.

AI-specific restrictions

AI endpoints and GPU capacity may not be used to generate targeted harassment, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content designed to deceive people about their identity for fraud.

Automated agents operating your infrastructure must run under spending limits and permission scopes you have reviewed.

Resource fairness

Shared resources such as transfer allowances are provisioned for normal application traffic. Sustained saturation intended to resell capacity is not acceptable use.

Reporting abuse

Abuse reports are reviewed promptly. We contact the customer first where the situation allows and act immediately where it does not.
