Privacy Policy

What Hostacker collects, why we collect it, and the control you keep over your data.

Phase 1 placeholder. These documents describe intent and will be replaced by counsel-reviewed terms before commercial launch.

What we collect

Account information you provide directly: name, work email, company and country. Billing details are handled by our payment processor and we store only the identifiers needed to reconcile an invoice.

Operational data generated by using the platform: resource metadata, usage counters, audit events and support correspondence.

Why we collect it

To provision and operate the infrastructure you ask for, to bill accurately, to detect abuse, and to meet the legal obligations attached to running a hosting business.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use customer workloads to train models.

Your content

The data inside your servers, databases and vector collections belongs to you. Hostacker staff access it only when you ask us to as part of a support request, or where required to prevent imminent harm to the platform.

Retention

Resource data is deleted when you delete the resource. Backups follow the retention window you configure. Billing records are retained for the period required by tax law.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
